We are a small family run business. Here at Amethyst Fox boutique we value the arts and creative expression, community spirit, and the environment. Wherever possible we try to minimise or eliminate plastic packaging, such as for example all earrings sold in store have a cardboard backing card rather than plastic backing. We also predominately use paper bags rather than plastic any necessary use of plastics is recycled plastics or recyclable and in store we stock mostly handmade products and artworks from local artisans and local small businesses which reduces the stores carbon footprint and environmental impacts. I started this store as ever since I was a little girl it had been my dream to create a space featuring quirky unique and cute handmade gifts and where I could showcase some of my handmade items also. I also have always been interested in the arts and wanted to have a gallery space ideally so I have incorporated aspects of these two aspirations. The physical store was previously located in the beautiful lake Macquarie at shop 4, number 60 the Boulevarde Toronto N.S.W. Due to unforseen circumstances regarding that building, we have moved to pop up temporary stores, markets, and the online store only, for the current time though endevour to find a new permanent shop space in future. A selection of the items from the markets and pop up store are also available to view and purchase on this website, however unfortunately the artworks are only available to purchase in the physical store.
